Maria was one of my diet technicians for over 20 years at Toronto Rehab. She was delightful, a pleasure to work with at all levels, very dedicated and hard working. Even when situations were tense , we always found something to laugh about to lighten the situation. Maria talked about her daughters with pride. She expressed so much love for them and as a mother was always concerned about how they were doing. She wanted her daughters to have the best life possible and to utilize all of their talents. I am deeply saddened by Maria's passing and would like to send her daughters "virtual" hugs.

I used to work with Maria and am so sad to hear of her death. What a beautiful and kind soul she was, truly a wonderful person. My heartfelt condolences to all of her family.

I worked with Maria at Toronto Rehab for over 10 years. Maria is honestly one of the most patient and kind individuals I have ever met. Her love for her family and her devotion to her friends, colleagues and hospital patients was evident every day. It breaks my heart that her life was so short. Maria will be missed by MANY. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Maria was a kind, loving person who always showed the greatest patience and respect to those she worked with. Her attention to detail made our jobs so much easier. I truly appreciated working with her over a period of almost twenty years. Maria made the world a better place. My heartfelt condolences to her family.

Dearest Tio and Primas, our hearts are very heavy and saddened with losing our beloved Tia Maria. Our only consolation is in knowing that her soul is closer to God. We just found out about the sad news. Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow. We just lost our father/ husband 4 months ago and can understand what you are going through.
