Obituary
Maria Zenchuk passed away peacefully, at the age of 91, at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre in the afternoon on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Maria (Marusia) was born in Kolomayja, Ukraine in 1926, moved to Canada in 1948, married in Mattawa, Ontario in 1949 and moved to Toronto. Predeceased by loving husband, Wasyl. Predeceased by sister, Natalka and brothers Walter and Michael. Proud mother of Miron (Luba) and the late Leo (Arlene). Adoring grandmother of Christina (Colin) and Danya (Scott), Kimberley, Matthew and Andrew (Heather). Cherished great grandmother of Ella and Kendrick. Maria was a devoted member of her Ukrainian Catholic Church and loved to socialize and help at her church, at Christie (Seniors' Club) and the Ukrainian Social Services. She had many dear friends and will be missed by all.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following charities:
