Dear Fodchuk Family, Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Though I did not work for the Institute, for 10 years Slauka and I worked just an office apart. As we grew to know each other, we shared stories and pictures of our families and I know how much she loved all of you and how proud she was of you. I appreciated the friend she became and always valued her counsel and humour. We were to have lunch last Tuesday to catch up when she was rushed to the hospital. I still wish we could have that lunch. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.

Dear Fodchuk Family, I was stunned to hear that Slauka died. I met Slauka when she worked at St. Vlad's and loved her from day one. She had a big heart, a caring soul, a beautiful smile and lots of fun to be with. I have such pleasant memories of the times we spent chatting in the hallways or in her office. Even now, thinking about those days puts a smile on my face. May your memories of your time with Slauka bring you comfort and smiles as well, even as you grieve your loss. I wish you much strength in the days ahead. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Wishing Slauka eternal peace - Vichnaya Pamyat.
