Please accept my condolences. When I learned of Venizio's passing this week, I couldn't believe it. Venizio (Alex) was a great friend and fun to hang out with - truly one of a kind. For the better part of my twenties, Alex and I hung out a lot. Although we lost touch in the 90's, memories and stories still come up often from our endless adventures - as saddened as I am writing this, I am also smiling from memorable events I will never forget - I could recount stories, tirelessly. Whether hanging out downtown or a weekend at the cottage in Orillia, Alex had a knack for making things fun and exciting. He had a great way of bringing people together and making sure everyone was laughing and getting along. He often spoke of his family, especially his niece and nephew, Christina and Jason who he adored. My sympathies. Alex, I am reminded of how fast time passes. I regret we didn't have a chance to catch up, at least one last time. May you rest in peace. Your friend, George

Ludovina: I genuinely regret your loss. I hope that in due time your family receives God’s peace that excels all thought, so that it will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. God is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. Rest assured that God cares for all his creatures and he would never bring us suffering. A soothing scripture I like is Psalm 34:18 which reads: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” He promised that in the Paradise, we will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all problems, accidents, and sickness. Even our dead loved ones like Venizio will be resurrected. (Psalm 37:9, 29; John 5:28, 29) With all my sympathy.
