Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the World’s greatest Mick Jagger impersonator, Bob Wotherspoon. He passed away on July 11th in hospital, surrounded by his best friends and closest family members. He was 64 years-old. Never a senior. Always a rock star.

Perhaps his greatest accomplishment - the day before he died, he re-married his ex-wife, the true love of his life.

His renowned Rolling Stones tribute band, Hot Rocks, toured all over the world including places like New York, Peru, and, Mexico. He also owned and founded a successful graphic design company, St. Andrews Graphics.

He will forever be remembered as a loving and endlessly supportive husband, a hilarious brother, a son who can always be counted on and the world’s best rock and roll dad.

Somehow I have came across this sad news while researching my family history and was wondering if there was any family link . My dad was Graham Wotherspoon from Ayrshire, Scotland and he had family in Canada. Please feel free to get back in touch.

So sad to hear about the passing of Bob. He was such a fun person to work for and with. Always so full of energy and never a dull moment when he was around. A whole-hearted family man who threw himself completely into everything he did. R.I.P.

With a heavy heart I send our condolences to Bob's Mum, Brother and family. Bob has been an important figure in our lives for many years and will be truly missed. I started working for Bob at a difficult time in my life and his support truly made a difference! I don't believe I ever knew a man who put family first as Bob did. Bob, I will miss our talks and your rock star personality forever! Love Natalie "ST" & Family X

For nearly a decade Robert was in my life. I watched him go above and beyond for his family and friends. He was a hard working business man and entrepreneur; yet his heart was in writing music and singing. Christmas morning was always fun and unique as Bob's creativity made it so. His favourite past time...relaxing in his pj's with a glass of wine, a good movie and of course family. Words are not enough to express the disbelief and sorrow we are all feeling now. Fly with the angels Bob; you are now at peace.

It is with great sorrow and heavy heart that Elaine and I express our deepest sympathies to Joanne the kids and thev tended family. We both have such fond memories of bob and the family growing up side by side in aurora. He was such an endearing person with a great heart who adored his kids and family. Elaine and I both took his passing very hard we really don’t know what else to say but to say that he left us far to soon and he will be sorely missed by all. Our love goes out to all of you stay strong and we will see you soon. RIP BOB you have left a void in all of us ❤️❤️

He's gone way too soon. Always thought we'd play music together again after we'd retired. I'm going to miss him. Bob has left me with some great memories. May he rest in peace.
