Passed away suddenly on December 29th, 2017 at St. Joseph's Health Centre in his 56th year. Born December 16th, 1961 to Gloria and the late Gordon Benoit in Stephenville, Newfoundland. Loving son to Gloria and brother to Ken (Leslie), Jeff and Jeanette (Harold) Pittman and daughter Chelsea. Rick settled in Toronto after serving with the military in the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in Victoria, British Columbia. Rick had a unique sense of humour and made friends wherever he lived. "This world will not be the same without him". A Celebration of His Life will take place at a later date in Newfoundland.Visitation

My Deepest Sympathy to all the Benoit family. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Ricks passing. Rick was certainly a unique individual who will be missed by all who had the opportunity and pleasure of knowing him. I have many fond and entertaining memories of Rick during our teenage years beating the streets around Stephenville. What a laugh we use to have! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Rest In Peace my friend.
